Three members of the Insurance practice group will be speaking at the ABA Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section's Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee's 20th Annual Mid-Year Program. John Ansbro, partner in the New York office, will be appearing on the panel "Coverage Issues Arising From Consumer Mortgage Fraud and the Impact of the U.S. Financial Meltdown," discussing the insurance ramifications arising from criminal prosecutions related to mortgage fraud and other issues related to the financial crisis. David Klein, partner in the Washington, D.C. office, will appear on the panel "Insurance Coverage for the Effects of Natural Disasters," exploring the legal, coverage and quantification issues that arise in insurance recovery from natural disasters. And Marc Mayerson, of counsel in the Washington, D.C. office, will be moderating a panel titled "Backroom Deals and Barroom Brawls: Media Liability Coverage in Entertainment Litigation," which will discuss issues relating to media liability insurance, from various types of policies that may be triggered and claims such as copyright infringement or idea misappropriation.
