We are looking to recruit an associate with two to five years' post qualification experience to join our growing London corporate practice group.
The group advises public and private companies around the world on all aspects of their businesses and at every stage of their growth and development. This includes mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures and strategic alliances, strategic technology transactions, corporate formations and outsourcing. The client base covers companies in a variety of industries and sectors, from established blue-chip companies to technology-driven start-ups.
The ideal candidate will be UK qualified with excellent technical legal skills gained from a firm recognized for the strength of its corporate practice. Candidates should have M&A and/or equity capital markets experience to reflect the group's varied workload.
The corporate practice group is currently made up of eight partners, one of whom is an IP specialist, one of counsel, six associates, a professional support lawyer and four trainees.

We are looking to recruit a mid-level associate (3-5 years' PQE) to join our non-contentious IP/IT practice. The successful candidate will be UK qualified and working in a firm with a strong reputation for IP/IT law and have an interest in technology and digital media. On offer is the opportunity to work with high growth and exciting early stage technology companies as well as assisting more established corporate clients with international transactions. The work will include:
- Drafting and negotiating complex IP, IT and commercial agreements
- Advising on brand protection and other soft IP issues with a particular emphasis on the application of the Internet and digital media
- Advising on data protection and privacy regulation and global ecommerce regulation
- IP/IT support on corporate transactions such as venture capital, M&A and IPOs
